Terms of Service

The short version: the app is free, it runs entirely on your device, and what you log belongs to you. We provide it as is and ask only that you use it lawfully.
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Time Journal mobile application, published by Asok Labs. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Your data is yours
Everything you log in the app is stored locally on your device. We claim no ownership of it and we have no access to it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; see the Privacy Policy for detail.
4. Price and purchases
The app is offered free of charge. If a paid feature is introduced in future, its price and terms will be shown before purchase, and any purchase will be handled and refunded by Apple or Google under their own terms — not by us.
5. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue the app, or any part of it, at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of a discontinuation through the app stores, but we are not obliged to maintain any particular feature indefinitely.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, and do not attempt to interfere with, disable, or circumvent any part of it. That is the whole list.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the records it keeps will be complete or accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asok Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, note it in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Asok Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
